BIOGRAPHY
Adrian Tan is a litigator at TSMP Law Corporation. He previously practised law at Drew & Napier and Morgan Lewis Stamford. He is the Vice-President of the Law Society of Singapore, and the honorary legal counsel for the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped.
He has written two novels: The Teenage Textbook (1988) and The Teenage Workbook (1989).
They occupied the top two spots for a continuous period of two years on The Sunday Times bestseller lists, selling 50,000 copies in total. The Teenage Textbook won a National Book Development Council award, and was adapted for the stage by Haresh Sharma, and for the screen by Monster Films.
Adrian’s collection of agony-aunt columns was published as Dear Adam, Help! under his pseudonym, Adam Wong in 1990 and his short story, The Animals was broadcast on the BBC World Service. His articles on legal practice and the law continue to be published regularly in Singapore’s national newspapers.
